if he has missed overs you want him to fold flop c/r

[/ QUOTE ]

Yeah, but you'd rather he pays two small bets on the flop than zero.

I doubt he is folding overs getting 7.5:1.

One problem with donking here is that you give CO the perfect opportunity to protect his own hand.

Also, if it had been the BTN who was the PFR and not the CO, a donk might be a little better since then the CO might fold overs fearing that the BTN (PFR in this scenario) might raise. This again would still not be great since a c/r there is even better since you could force CO to call 2.

is he really folding to a flop c/r w/ overs getting 10.5:1 if BTN calls or 9.5:1 even if BTN folds?

That was exactly my point. No one is folding overs here to a c/r.

But isn't it correct to fold overs here getting only 7.5 to 1? If not then this has been a major leak in my game. For instance I raise with AK from co. BB calls, flop comes rags he donks I fold. Or same scenario but he c/r's me. Unless I have a read that he bluffs frequently then I fold. Does this mean I'm folding way to much on the flop? Could you please explain why you should continue without corrent odds or implied odds to call?

I don't disagree that the purpose of checkraising is for value. However, if he bets with overcards, and then folds to our checkraise, that is a bonus.
