Default What about gimmicks?

AFAIK, gimmicks are relatively safe under the current UBB forum because IP checking users is a pain in the pooper. But with vBulletin, IP checking will be much easier, si? So the value of gimmicks will be diminished amirite, because mods/admins will easily be able to figure out who the gimmick is?

IMO gimmicks are popular on 2+2 because it's hard to figure out who they belong to. Switching to vB will make gimmicks obsolete imo. IMO.

imo.

Or if I'm wrong somewhere please correct me.

Jokes don't stop being funny just because you know who told it.

Annoying gimmicks might have troubles, but funny gimmick accounts should have nothing to worry about.

Sam - this would presume that NT!'s (or insert moderator's name here) girlfriend fingered his a-hole the previous night, thus leaving him in a modestly agreeable mood.

For the most part, if the gimmick isn't malicious, it's not going to get the owner banned as well. That's my policy at least.

IMA CUT U is not my account sir, or at least I didn't make it. I only have one gimmic and that was just so I could ask a question about Vegas lodging without making it obvious I would be there, because it was at the time a top secret trip (not my choice).
