Re: MicroPoster Hand #10 - A9o
[ QUOTE ]
the river doesn't influence my decision on the turn. Why should it fritos? It hasn't happened yet. [/ QUOTE ] Of course it shouldn't. I just had the slight feeling that on the turn it might not be that "zomg eze bet!!!" as everyone seems to make it look like. |

Re: MicroPoster Hand #10 - A9o
[ QUOTE ]
The board just got extremely wet [/ QUOTE ] This is a reason to bet, not check. Someone who open-limps in this spot is also liable to have called the flop with any pair and possibly as little as just the K [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. Against a better player it would be different but I have no respect for this guy even without being given a read. [ QUOTE ] we now have 3rd pr (not second, xhad) [/ QUOTE ] oops [ QUOTE ] the pot is minuscle and we can't even fold to a raise (a raise that, agreed, might be very unlikely to begin with). [/ QUOTE ] Yeah, his open-limp indicates a very passive player, meaning we often get to show down for just our turn bet and are getting checkraised almost never, another reason why I'd be more likely to check against a good player. |
