Not to be a nit (to be fair, I have nothing better to do), but some people like their avatars and there seems to be a lot of grizzled 2+2 vets who like the Carpal\Tunnel undertitle, as if it makes them part of some "post too much" society, replete with forum street cred.
tdorko probably doesn't have a title because he doesn't want one, and he also seems to like his Office Space avatars. So while it's clear he's a total badass (albeit with suspect NBA affiliations), that's not to say he wants to turn his ass-kicking into an avatar.

i would guess that tdarko doesn't care about a custom title because he is too busy going outside, kicking ass and taking names. i doubt any 2p2 title is a 'badge of honor' for him.
the only reason i haven't given him one is he hasn't asked and i can't think of anything appropriate.

Well done on hitting the guy and the take down. I've seen this get f'd up too many times because the pitcher is either a pussy or misses him. You got him in a good spot and then got him in a better one when he charged the mound. I like the fact that you represented pitchers well with that takedown.

Where were you aiming? Right where you hit him?
If you had missed (like thrown at his head and he ducked) would you have thrown at him again? If so, right away or give him some time to mull it over? What was more important - hurting him or sending the message? Would there have been fallout for you if you hadn't thrown at him?

great trip report (and video). I only played baseball thru about the 5th grade; so don't know the answer to this question: As a pitcher; how good is your control? Do you feel 100% confident you could hit someone in the head if you wanted to? did you go for the numbers because that is the most 'sure hit'? Could you tag someone in the face / neck / head / knee anytime you wanted? also- if he was expecting it and ducked the pitch....would you have thrown at him again?

when pitchers throw at batters on purpose, like darko said, its retaliation as well as protecting your teammates. Hockey is the same way, that's why teams have enforcers. IF someone cheap shots the captain, there will most definately be a fight. It's just part of the game and personally, I don't think it's ever going to change. IMO, I think it is a good thing although it can get ugly at times.
