HUD flashes on FTP

My HUD flickers when a new hand is being dealt and this causes FTP lag and makes it so I cant click buttons on any tables, I know this is pretty common. Is there anything I can do except set PAHUD/PT to low priority and get my computer running as fast as possible?

If you don't like the flickering you can set Flicker Free Drawing on under the preferences for FT. Supposedly this is more resource intensive although I dont notice a difference.

Have you selected "Flicker Free Drawing" in you PAHUD preferences? I don't know if this would help, though, since that's supposed to take up MORE resources...could be worth a try. Conversely, if that's on, maybe turning it off would help.

Flicker free is currently off but turning it on makes it unbearable slow. Got much worse during the session I just played, was 6 tabling and would constantly have bet amounts I was typing focus stolen and constant freezes where I could do nothing while a hand was being dealt.

Since you were already talking about priority changing, I assume you've cranked FT up to High?
