Default Cuban Cigars

I have been looking for info on Cuban cigars but am still unclear. When I googled cuban cigars it appears there are a number of stores that sell them. Are these real and is it legal to buy them from these sites?

Also, does anyone know the actual cost of cuban cigars, and any other info I should know?

Basically, I just want to smoke one cuban cigar to try it and compare it to other cigars I have smoked, but don't want to get ripped off or end up smoking a fake cuban.

Do live near the border to Canada? Most if not all cigar stores in Canada sell Cubans.

mwg,

Illegal and most you see are fakes. Cost varies. You will get ripped off and you will end up smoking fakes. Such is the nature of the beast.

I would discourage you from the pursuit.

You can get real ones from http://www.cigarsofhabanos.com/ but you cann't get one at a time from there. If you have a good local shop around they probably have some in the back. You can check out http://www.cigaraficionado.com/Cigar...feit_Gallery/0,3390,,00.html and compare your labels to see if youre getting ripped. Honestly youre mostly paying for hype though.

My cousin sells them in his store for $18-25 usd depending on brand, size, and availability. Cohiba Siglo 3 has been my favorite Cuban. However, my tasting of Cuban's is very limited. I'd rather smoke a Padron Anniversary or Ashton VSG.
