Hero bets 300, UTG calls 265 (All-In).

Final Pot:

Alright there was a thread on P5 about this hand which died and I want to see what everyone thinks. I say this is either an insta-muck on the flop or definitely a turn muck. A player I respect in O8 disagrees with me which has me confused.

Default Re: PLO8 Tourney Hand $50

Whether to fold flop sort of depends on how aggressive UTG is. On the whole however I don't like hero's line in this hand. I would favor either folding the flop (if we feel like UTG is nitty and therefore likely to have the nut flush), raising the flop (if we're fairly convinced that villain is on a steal), or calling the flop and then folding the turn if a low card comes (if we're sort of on the fence about it).
But given stack sizes (UTG stack is only 6x the pot on the flop or so) I don't think the calldown is indefensible.
