Default premium hand vs UTG shortstack raise

No HH but just been thinking.

Say you have AK, or JJ in UTG+1 and UTG raises with a 50BB stack. Presumably with any decent hand, the best action is a call here otherwise we are just isolating a short stack?

well lets say he had 30BB then. I'm more interested in trying to stack someone for 100BB with a decent hand?

50BB effective with AK seems ideal to me...
with JJ+ its an interesting thought, but you'll get into really tough spots postflop and will have to play mainly for setvalue if the pot ends up multiway don't you think?
so, i say, raise that [censored] up!
