LOL Commerce camera
5/10 ($400) NL hand from today
The river...seat 6 bets 125. Seat 7 calls. Seat 9 pushes allin for over $400 (the chips were in his rack). Seat 6 has like $25 left and calls. Seat 7 has maybe $60 left and calls. Seats 6 and 7 both have the nuts. The dealer takes seat 9's rack, pays seat 6 $150, and pays seat 7 $185, leaving seat 9 with less than $100. Seat 9 does not realize what happened. Another player speaks up, and I back up that story. The dealer is very embarrassed and attempts to pay back seat 9 *out of his own tray*. He gave seat 9 $100. The floor comes over, tells the dealer to take back the $100 because they are going to resolve it with the camera. About 15 minutes later, the floor comes back...and asks seat 7 to give seat 6 $40. Seat 9 gets nothing, despite repeatedly playing out the hand for the floorman to see. LOL. |

Re: LOL Commerce camera
The floor was saying things like "I believe no one. I believe what they tell me in the camera room."
The dealer involved had been rotated out by the time the decision came back. He probably would have compensated seat 9 since he had already tried to do so. Another wtf moment (although I was honored) was, when the fracas first started, the floorman quietly approached me (I was in seat 4 and not involved in the hand at any point) and said "can you tell me what happened?" LOL nitty white guys always speak the truth...as it turns out I did know what happened, but he just couldn't wrap his head around the sidepot that needed to be made and chopped. |
