Okay, why don't you check behind on turn? No real draws and he 's more likely to put in money into the pot with a weaker hand on the river and we also give him a chance to bluff. Besides, do you call the river as the hand went down?

I folded cause he betted that big on river and I thought he would have a better hand than mine a good portion of the time. I would definitely called a smaller bet or valubet myself if he had checked on the river.

Assuming villian is a standard idiot that likes to min-3bet his big hands oop, I like the turn check. Its unfortunate you have no read, but as played I would expect to see him show up with QQ or AA here pretty often.
