oh MAN just bet. bet 3/5 of the pot. fold to a shove becuase he is more likely to shove an overpair than a ten. he is not very likely to shove QJ, but soudns like the type of guy to call with it.

just bet, and then shove the river, if you valuetown yourself, so be it, but he won't fold a ten no matter what.

or at least ime, with an image prob less aggro than yours, everyone gets together and says "hey don't fold top pair ever"

Why would villain not bet KT/AT?

OP said villain isn't very aggressive overall. Seems like this villain could check behind for pot control KT or AT after being check raised.

That's a big flop c/r. If next's range for him is right and you think he is calling down any 10 go ahead and 1/2 pot twice and get it in. High variance but most +EV line.

I really doubt that he's stacking off w/ JT/QT though bc he's prob not good enough to do that.

If you think JQ is still in his range after the flop c/r and that he'll call another street with it and JT/QT, go ahead and 1/2 pot turn. If not, you have to decide what you think he's value betting if you check turn to him. If you decide it's AT+, you have to fold. If it's KT+ you can call as long as you don't think you'll give up too much EV on the river bc it's marginal.

On the river it's the same process.

These are the spots that separate marginal players from big winners.

do i really b/f with facing basically a minraise? I'd rather b/c than b/f. As you perfectly illustrated, checking is really weak, b/f is awkward because of stack sizes and b/c is stacking myself a lot.

Bet/folding is so gross, wtf?

Ike I just bet/call here, typically. Pretty likely you have the best hand and I think c/f with your image is probably not good. I don't think I'd be looking to fold here really ever though.
