AA. turn action is weird
Cryptologic - No Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $0.25/$0.50 Blinds - 6 Players - (LegoPoker Hand History Converter)
SB: $50.20 <u>BB: $50.75</u> <u>Hero (UTG): $50.00</u> MP: $50.00 CO: $48.75 BTN: $61.40 Preflop: Hero is dealt A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (6 Players) Hero calls $0.50, 4 folds, <font color="red">BB raises to $1.00</font>, <font color="red">Hero raises to $3.50</font>, BB calls $2.50 Flop: ($7.25) 2[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 3[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 Players) <font color="red">BB bets $1.00</font>, <font color="red">Hero raises to $4.00</font>, BB calls $3.00 Turn: ($15.25) K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 Players) <font color="red">BB bets $2.00</font>, Hero calls $2.00 River: ($19.25) 6[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 Players) <font color="red">BB bets $6.00</font>, Hero calls $6.00 Pot Size: $31.25 ($1.55 Rake) Sometimes I limp-reraise with AA-QQ,AK from UTG. Not frequent, so I think it is ok play. On flop villain donks and I think he hit this flop. (btw his stats were donkish, dont remember exactly). Not sure if he capable of doing this with FD. Decided to raise for value, not protecting from FD. On turn villain made strange small bet. I thought long and flat called. Seemed like king ALSO helped him. River completed str8 draw. Villain bet 1/3 pot. I have to call because of odds. But I almost phisically see his KJ. Who plays flop-turn-river differently? |

Re: AA. turn action is weird
i'd raise a lot more on the flop. you're giving him 4:1 there.

No. I give him 1.9 to 1.
What hand wins against aces >34% of time heads up? |

No. I give him 1.9 to 1. What hand wins against aces >34% of time heads up? [/ QUOTE ] No, he has to call $3 into a pot that is now $12.25 after your flop raise, giving him slightly better than 4-1. Don't like the limp reraise pre, you telegraph that you have a big hand (unless you're also doing this with 76s and low PP). So villain can call and know that he can likely stack you if he hits 2 pair or better, and get away from top pair hands that he wouldn't have folded had you just raised pre. |

Re: AA. turn action is weird
raise pf more, you have the best hand, and he'll prolly call more, get as much in pf as possible. On the flop raise more, you wanna make a big pot here not try get to SD as cheap as possible. raise more for value/protection. raise turn for the same reasons, then you can get ai on the river
