Default Top Two Pair Turns Ugly in BvB

Villain is 32/20/2 over 100 hands.

I've been aggro in blindstealing. Other than that, pretty standard.

Villian having 88+ or a hand w/ a 2 in it is not very likely, given the action. With 88.00 in the pot and 62.00 left for you, I push here. His most likely holdings are 78, 89, 45, A7, etc. I just protect my hand and shove.

It's ugly and he's probably calling with most of his range after your 3-bet (which I like, btw) but the pot is huge and it's worth trying to win it now. I guess he could fold 88-JJ, but I think QQ+ call.

i'm not that worried about an overpair here. villain 3bets pf with 88-1010 here most of the time given your read. 77 and 66 is very unlikely as is a 2. you get paid a lot here by random hands, given that you have been aggressive stealing blinds. i push my remaining 65bb

check and fold

edit: im not so sure nemore. tough to see him coming up with a hand and he could have oesd or a stobborn A7. however, if u check he would prob check all of those so i am not sure whether value shove or c/f is better

lol, i thought completely opposite to most of these replies in the post.

here's my thought process:

given the fact that i'm an aggro blind stealer, im folding to any more aggression pf, so if he RR im folding out most of my range.

given his CALL after my RR to 40, i put him on 88+ almost always, and A7 at worst...and the turn made me puke.

I ended up checking, and he bet like 28 (which basicaly means no FE)...
