regardless, i would put a good deal of money that no one in the nfl clocks a 4.15 on an electronic timer.

i forgot about that. are combine times done by hand? i believe the generally accepted procedure of roughly (ie not accurate but we'll play along) converting to electronic is to add .24 seconds, turning 4.15s into about 4.4s.

yes they are hand timed. i believe top 100 meter runners come through the 40 yd mark around 4.3 (electronic)

I dont know who's the fastest NFL player, but the fact that it's not Trindon Holliday makes me happy.
