But afterword I felt like I should have pushed pre-flop. The 2nd limper seemed fairly laggy, so I didn't think I was going to be up against any pairs. But yeah, I think I should have pushed to take down the 700 chips which is clearly an upgrade for my stack. Confirm or deny? |

Re: PS $22 180 - AK out of position vs LAG
I agree with a push. You need to raise at least 1k to isolate, as you did, but in doing so, you commit yourself to the pot. These two stacks could be limping a big range, and you may get a hand you dominate to call. They may have a smaller pocket pair, which would be pressured to fold, or in the worst case, you're a little worse than a flip. Either way, I think a push is best here.

I think a go and go is better than a push unless you think one of the players is loose enough to call your all-in preflop.

Re: PS $22 180 - AK out of position vs LAG
I think you are a lot better off by just shoving. I hate having 10BB's left and no FE (assuming you raise and brick). Putting in 1/3 of your stack OOP w/ this hand also sucks. Besides, would your opponent fold 77 on the flop?
