Yep, I'd suggest going to a big computer/office store like Best Buy or Circuit City and see if you can find a laptop with that screen resolution. Personally for me, the resolutions that high are not comfortable for me to read and work with. However, I know it does not bother alot of people. I'd go blind if I had to use a resolution that high, but I think I need glasses anyway. [img]/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img]

So I finally went to CompUsa to see a 1900x1260 res for myself. Unfortunately, the computer didn't have programs I often use, so it's hard for me to judge how things will look.

For example, I use Firefox. But this computer had IE. And evidently, IE can't be tweaked very much. IE allows settings to be changed to "large fonts," but even when I made that change, images appeared too small for my taste, leaving this computer at its native resolution.

I now understand that it's not difficult to zoom in with wordprocessing software, so as to adapt to any resolution. But that still leaves me in the dark about how other apps would look (like Outlook, Pokertracker, Firefox, Quicken, iTunes and IM stuff).
