played in this game with you but I don't remember this hand ( i could been smoking who knows) Call and cry if he shows some retarded flush. They love to make "plays" at pots when the board looks really scary like this. So over playing even a ragged jack is out of the Q

Turn card is ugly because of this player. He could be easily playing some sort of gutshot with a 9, 45, who knows, anything. Also, could have made him go from gutshot to open ended. Remember, he had called 2 big bets 20 minutes ago with A6 with just bottom pair, finally folded to me firing a 3rd big bet on the river.

I was thinking he would check it down if I checked, otherwise I would have bet $200 or something so he couldn't really bluff me b/c he would only have $200 remaining. I also forgot to mention that another hand we tangled in before this, somewhat same situation, I have KQ, Q high flop. I bet flop, turn, he calls quickly both times. I check river and grab a stack of $100 chips and say I'm calling whatever you bet, he throws in $200 and I call, shows middle pair and my Q takes down the pot.

For those that like results, results in white below (or so I think they are in white):

<font color="white"> I thought for a good couple of minutes, even shows my KK, but since I was 4 seat and he was 6 seat, tough to see his reaction. A guy I played with at the main table said he reacted very nervous when he saw that, wish I could have seen it! I folded. He showed J9, top pair with a gut shot. I suck. Pot turn versus the type of player described, the board is way too ugly for a two-thirds pot bet, river is a completely standard check-call.

Full ring is all about the god damn sets. Hero was probably never ahead here.

AA/KK have almost no value in full ring unless someone has another big hand such as KK/QQ/JJ/AK, and when a lot of money goes in the pot postflop it's rarely good.

Your large open, and double barrel. Your hand is face up, he'd be a complete idiot to be valuetowning you with a J here. This is a bluff, at least a flush, most likely a boat. Proceed accordingly.

You shouldn't even bother asking for advice for full ring from 2p2, because 6max is an entirely different beast. In live FR, bottom set is like the 6-max overpair as far as relative value is concerned.

Overbet flop to $167, shove all non-[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] turns.
