Those roles are just that - roles. Like seer/villager.

The actual characters will have names. Like Fade/Mat, etc.

Also, anybody who's not playing, and has time to look at the setup, please PM / AIM me. You don't need to know the series, just check that things are basically balanced.

Well, the "gimmick" centers around the Aes Sedai voting concept and the vote switchers (and the vote counter). That seems reasonable, though it'll depend on the counts.. is there one Aes Sedai? Three? The other piece of the "gimmick" is the Rand/Fain mystery interaction, along with the villager mystery powers, which will make things a bit mish-mashy.

Neither of those is inherently unbalanced.. depending on what the hidden abilities are.

Also, I personally don't much care for villagers with no extra information getting vote-moving or extra-vote powers. Villagers like that usually don't have any more clue than anyone else who's playing. Making the Aes Sedai part of mason-pairs does give a little extra information to help that.

I don't see that either side has much more advantage than in a normal WW game, so I'd consider using a village/wolf breakdown similar to what a normal WW game would use for the number of people. If this is a 21 person game with one seer, I can't see how you'd have more than one "darkfriend", two if the hidden village powers involve some sort of peeking or investigation.

Where were you guys before I rebalanced the game????

Right now we have 24 names in here. I'll have to see how many I get in the game.

Roles will be assigned Sunday evening.

Went to the bookstore to look for The Eye of the World, and they had five WoT novels there, but not the first two. Serves me right for trying to use a physical bookstore...
