Default KK as overpair vs. unknown POLL INCLUDED!!!!

This is the first hand the vilian has played. (he literally just sat down and he's the big blind) pokerace has no stats on him, and I have no notes. I was thinking about just calling flop, and evaluating turn instead of raising like I did.

5/10 NL 6 max

UTG folds
Hero $1,000 pfr to $40 with KK
CO folds
Button folds
SB calls covers(TAG winning player)
Villian..BB.. calls ($1,000)

Flop ($117) Q95 with diamond draw, hero has black kings

SB checks
BB bets $80
HERO!?!?!?! (who calls here?)
Hero raised to $250
SB folds
BB reraises the minimum to $420
HERO!?!??!?!?!

TAG is a winning player leading into you. If this doesn't tell you you're behind the re-min-raise does and you can safely fold without redraws.

I think you misread the hand, the BB bet into him.

haha

Yeah, I also found the part that we should realize we are beat as soon as he leads into us pretty funny.

I see his minnimum reraise after the flop as a tactic to slow you down for his draws, id raise back.

Default Results

Well, I'll post results....I think I got enough info. Seems like raising the initial bet, then folding is the majority.

I raised the initial bet, then pushed when he did that gay mini reraise. (figured there was tons of money, he played the hand like an idiot, so I figured bad player, aka, MAYBE AQ or another queen, or maybe some draw)

He had 9,5o and it held up

I often just call the flop. You have position - use it.

If I raise flop it is usually for more and, I am probably going all the way with the hand.

It was 3 way, and that's what led me to raise. Although I could see a case for calling, if it was heads up, that's what I would probably do.
