Villain had just joined the table so I wasn't sure if he was donk enough to have gotten in preflop with a weaker queen than mine. My image is generally TAG, I was probably running at something like 19/15/3.5 and hadn't shown down any bluffs other than cbets.

At the time I thought checking the turn for pot control was necessary because I didn't want to get auto-stacked by someone with a better Q or JJ and I felt leading would fold out all worse hands. This seems pretty weak looking back on things though? Do I just need to go broke here?

I'm pretty unsure on both turn and river here, so please help me out. And if you have any idea what villain's turn bet means, let me know because in position underbets confuse the hell out of me.

I would lead the turn again. Just because villain called the flop bet doesn't make him have a Q.

River seems like a pretty standard fold as played.

Okay, say I lead the turn for 17 and get raised to 50? call/fold/push?

Probably fold if your image is solid and he's not super bluffy or anything.
