BB defense poll

Assuming no reads in full ring, which of these hands do you defend the BB with against one limper and a btn raise?

I defended them all. Not sure what that proves, though, or how this can help; I defend a LOT of my big blinds. But I do think I make up for that after the flop, so.

I'm trying to figure out a balance between ev and which hands play better post flop. In the two simulations below 8763 has a higher ev but most players and books would recommend KQJT more.

EDIT: I might defend with QQ54 single suited.

I hesitate to write this because I am currently a money loser in O8, but I think folding all of those hands is insane.

QQ54 with a flush, AK86 (with the suited ace), and K235 or whatever it was have got to be profitable BB defense hands here.

I think most of the other ones are too, but the above ones seem absolutely clear to me.

rev implied odds, harder to play post flop, etc.

and micturition man, i'd only play qq45 and k235, with k235 being a fold to a better player's open.

i would guess that in monte carlo sims all these hands have more equity than 1-5,5 odds you're getting most of the time, even if you give a relatively tight range to both opps (actually i think u get more equity if the other players range is close to the raisers)...

...and that of course is only important if all you have infront of you is that 1 small bet to call...

...7/10 i would defend with and i doubt i would ever defend my reasons for it (style dependant)

Totally on gut instinct, I had two near definite folds -- KT94ds and QJ87ss. 7652 and JT97 were almost as bad. I would defend with most of the others most of the time.

(Pretty wishy washy answer, but it depends on my opponents and the game)
