Default NL200 Turned top set - best line for value?

NL200

Hero ($240) dealt A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] in UTG + 1

UTG limps (stack $170)
Hero raises to $10, folds, UTG calls

Pot $23

Flop J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]4[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

UTG check, Hero bet $20, UTG calls

Pot $63 - villain has $140 behind

Turn A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]

Villain checks (edited)

My plan?

The A isn't really all that great a card for me. Really an action killer against QJs,KJs,JTs,TT,99 limp/calling sorts of hands

betting insures AJ stacks off if a diamond peels off on the river. Same is true to some extent for 88.

checking possibly gets another bet out of 2nd pair hands and gives me a free shot to fill up against an odd turned flush. Depending on the action, it may save me a bet on the river vs a turned flush, but all the money may go in anyway. Depends how grim the river is and the size of the river bet. It gives 2nd pair hands a free shot at hitting 2 pair or a lesser set.

I think there are some arguments for checking, but the thought makes me feel so dirty.
