you figure out the difference between the amount you win with your hand relative to what others win with the same hand in the same situation

Imagine 2 tables with 2 seats each. Player A on table 1 gets the same cards as player A on table 2. The bet is between them, who makes more with the same cards. Collusion-paradise!

It's an attempt to determine who is the better player. Players at different tables getting the same cards. After a predetermined ampunt of time compare the players stacks. Who made the most or lost the least. Since players have the same cards you can make comparisons, not based on the cards, but on the skill levels of the players.

I've played a bit and it can be frustrating.
There have been a few times when I am in first (you only know position and not how far ahead you are) when the final hand is dealt (There are a predetermined number of hands) and end up in 2nd or 3rd (only 1st at each seat wins) cause of alot of desperate allins from the 2nd/3rd place players at the other tables.

All in all (no pun intended) I seems like a neat idea. How far it will go remains to be seen.

More questions...

1. So all ten players or all six players in a shorthand table get the same cards?

1a. Do they do shorthand tables?

2. Does this excercise begin and end at some set time, or is it a continous game that you jump into or out of whenever you want?

3. When and how do you find out who the person on the other table with the same cards as you is and how well they faired?

4. Is there any prize for doing better than the other person with the same cards?

AFAIU: Isn't it actually beyond collusion, it's the officialized "see opponent hole cards" ... ?

AFAIU: Isn't it actually beyond collusion, it's the officialized "see opponent hole cards" ... ?

No, officially you cannot see the hole-cards of your opponents. You only know those of players in your position on other tables. Not that this matters, obv, as having 1 friend playing the same tourney gives you a wealth of info.

I meant that if you collude in normal poker, the only benefit you get is that you know 2 more dead cards.

If you collude in this poker - and your mate is in another table, you know the hole cards of some player on your table ?!

That was/is a question from my side (if i got it all correctly, I only once read the rules)
