So I own both an 02 WRX and recently purchased an 05 Audi A4 Quattro. These would be my top 2 choices for < 25k as well. If you enjoy driving fast cars with good handling and don't care about a lot of interior options the WRX is the way to go. If you want leather seats, moonroof, and all the trimmings like that the A4 is a good choice. It really just depends on what you're looking for in a car. FWIW, My A4 had 23000 miles on it and is a 3.0 Quattro with every package available (sticker was about $38500 new) and I only paid 24k for it. I think that's a pretty good deal.
