Default BBV: A guide to the characters

So that you can come to learn the characters I have made an easy guide to all our favorites

Dr Stanhope and the Signora Madeleine (the last of the Neros!)

Septimus Harding thrown from his job at the hospital but now happy just to play his violincello above the chemist shop in the high street

Eleanor Bold sad for the fortunes of her poor beloved father and angry at Archbishop Grantly before being softened by Mr Arabin

Mr Arabin stands to address the crowds who are asking what should be done about low church problems or a possibility there are problems with the Proudies.

Speak of the ol devil lol! Bishop Proudie examines the scene from his window. Probably wondering how he has got into this mess in the first place.

And of course the wife Mrs Proudie. Already and quickly it is decided "who shall be the new bishop" and is quite obviously her from the chamber party scene onwards!

John Bold is the man behind the utter downfall of Mr Harding. And how he saddened old Bunce at the hospital. Actually though in later years he has a good relationship with Archdeacon Grantly but NONE is said of the hospital in there friendly encounters.

Archdeacon Grantly with his wife Ann. She ALWAYS calls him 'Archdeacon' even tho they are married lol

And of course our favorite. I LOVE MR SLOPE, I LOVE MR SLOPE, I LOVE MR SLOPE!!! The old rascal Slope who we all love to hate!

I hope this is a useful guide to help you remember.
