Default 100NL Basic AK hand (poker 101)

I am basically in doubt how to play this. Seen in retrospect I want to make my 4bet larger and then just shove flop, as I am priced in if he pushes as far as I can see ??

What is your line?

Not with his miniraise PF, he prob has KK/AA which means you are either dead or close to dead, dont lead the flop, and fold to a bet.

With this reasoning, I'd be better of folding to the threebet right ???

You're flop lead is very weak. If you planned to call his allin, then why not push yourself. Don't 4bet preflop, and if you do, just c/f. His range is TT+ here most of the time and you arn't getting a fold on this flop.

How aggro is villian at blinds? How aggro are you at SB?

How much do you know about the BB? Has he done much reraising at all? If he hasn't been reraising and he suddenly comes out with a min reraise, he has AA or KK. Add the fact that you are OOP for postflop play, and you should seriously consider folding to the 3-bet, even if it is a min-reraise.

Meanwhile, if this guy likes to 3-bet a lot, I prefer to just call here and to take my slightly better than $3:$1 money odds. Then, I check/call on the flop if I hit (if I miss, I just check/fold). If my opponent is really aggressive, I will usually check/call to the river, because that's typically how you get the most value out of such an opponent. If your opponent isn't hyper-aggressive, then an alternative is to switch from passive to aggressive on the turn and the river and to lead out.

Shorthanded hold'em is all about playing big pots when you have position and small pots when you are out of position. Position is much more important than cards in shorthanded NL hold'em. I don't like the 4-bet preflop here.

May Your EV Always Be Positive!

Villian just sat down an orbit ago, so neither of us have any reads on the opposition, that being said, I usually run 20/19 and so am fairly aggro pr. default

i don't like 4b this oop, for situations like this. As played I think you should just give up on the flop. He isn't folding JJ+ which is a massvie part of his range.
