A 2x the pot reraise here isn't a bad play at all, if you're looking to be conservative just call and see the flop. But I prefer to not play overly passive here, make the move that makes your decision on the flop the simplest

[/ QUOTE ] Yeah, that would be the best play if you did. But you'll be potting the flop. And if he calls and you're over cards are live than you're still not getting the right odds to hit. So things could get awkward.
