Put it in on the turn? [/ QUOTE ] This is a pretty clear three bet IMO. What was your reason for calling the turn? |

Re: 10 20 NL, river decision
put another smallish raise in on the turn, he'll call or shove with a big hand, and call with a draw. then shove river.
as played, just shove river. he'll call if he's there, and he'll probably check behind if he's not. |

Re: 10 20 NL, river decision
I'd 4bet here to prevent actionkillers on riv. I rele think he has Tx, and is not folding. I would reraise to $875 and try to get it AI here.

how much do you raise on the turn so that he still has enough implied odds to call with a draw? [/ QUOTE ] He has about $950 left. I'd probably reraise like $400 more. He's not gonna have any implied odds really since he'll have to figure you're both committed to the pot. I'd really assume that he has Tx, a draw or nothing here most of the time. It just doesn't make sense for him to show up with any kind of naked A here the way the hand played out. If you make it $400 more back to him and he assumes his flush is live, then he's most likely either pushing or folding. If he's got a T, he can't fold for that price and then when the river rolls off, it's an easy AI since he'll only have ~$550 behind. |
