I think the A9's fold so you get no value there, and the Kx often calls as this is such a weird line that it gets him wondering. So I feel like you aren't always getting a better hand to fold, but you are almost always getting the worse hands to fold.

So what exactly are you trying to get out of this?

I don't see a lot of value in the raise that calling the river bet doesn't get. Are you really going to check a set on the turn? You think he lays AK/KQ here?

i cant think of a worse hand that calls, i think you probably move KQ off this hand, but i think AK usually calls, so unless theres other reads or history with this guy or something i think calling is your best line here

Is he the type to value bet this river thin? I would imagine he has KQ or KJ, maybe a midpair or air.

If you don't take these lines often with monsters, he might look you up. But since he will rarely have anything better than KQ, I think this is a decent play. I think I would like it better if you're hand had less showdown value, since you are ahead of most all his range except Kx, and that is probably all he will call you with.
