The lack of interest in this thread speaks volumes for how little chance any game has at overtaking no-limit hold 'em. Even 2+2ers don't care about HORSE very much.

[/ QUOTE ]

this is definitely true. I'm watching it but I kinda put it off for a while, whereas I watch the ME stuff ASAP. Also I'm ostensibly a poker professional, but I just stare blanky at the screen during stud eight-or-better hands. I can only imagine what non-poker enthusiasts think while watching it.

I love Kenny Tran. I also really love how after the sick J9 call, he called Amnon down with 63o. lol, did everyone hear what Amnon said after he bet the river with AT on the AA6xxx board? "go ahead and put me on 2 cards you beat, Kenny."

That was awesome. After that I think Norman Chad said something like "he's not sick fold Kenny."

Yeah, Norman gave a Barry quote about Stu Unger. Something like you see these players make sick calls but you rarely see them make sick laydowns.

Pretty sick call there by Tran with J high.

[/ QUOTE ]

Even better when he called amnon with bottom pair when the ONLY hand he could beat was a straight draw, Great call kenny, Greenstein said it best great calls but no great laydowns

True. People claim they want to watch something other than no-limit holdem on occasion, but they really don't.

[/ QUOTE ]

hold'em is easy to view on TV. The other games aren't and suffer accordingly, especially with showing, what, 10% of the hands played?
