Default Re: Old-Timers Game (GAME THREAD)

I do have to give Chuckles credit for running this as far as he did; and the funny thing is I nearly peeked him night 0, but I figured that he wasn't making it past day 4 or 5. Oops.

MVP = Shortline, how he played (or ran, at least) was sick. I also want to give myself a pat on the back for both knowing that mostsmooth was his next target, thinking he was going to be wrong, and being able to divert that lynch. Even though it isn't obvious this game ends up being quite a bit tighter if that mislynch (and the Shortline one the next day) are not avoided.

I also have to admit I didn't pick up on BobO being the other seer until day 2, and even then I was not 100% sure (it was either him or Shortline). Also, never ever ever [censored] pull that stunt with the mets peek again. Nearly gave me a heart attack.

I know Nicolas has regarding when I came out, but I think holding off would have been a mistake. I was concerned that the wolves had no idea who the other seer was once traz and Tokyo came up blanks, and I figured they would have just started going through possible peeks trying to avoid a lock once the seers come out (this is what happened in COYA). And I am fully aware that I am as likely to be peeked early as anyone else in this game at this point (as BobO proved, heh).

OH, you are such a dirty liar. You DO NOT know my wolf game from Simpson's. I was not a wolf with you that game, and i was not even in that game.
Thanks for trying Chuck, it was pretty impossible.

Thanks for running this Zurvan. If you have the chatlog of when you gave me my role...

[/ QUOTE ]

No, I don't have the chat log (FU VIRUS FU HARD). Would that be when I f'd up the wolf team?

Yeah, that's right, I had to ask one of the wolves who the others were.

Durron's spreadsheet royally [censored] up when you replace a player and re-sort.

Hence my not changing xorbie to nich when he subbed in.

Thanks for an enjoyable game everyone.

SOmeone has to explain to me how amp gets eaten night two over Bobo. It might be because I knew Bobo was actually the seer, but when I saw that they didn't kill him, I knew that was going to be the turning point in the game.

Regardless, very good game by the village, and good luckboxing by shorty.

amp was eaten to set up traz -- and he was utr so he could be the seer
we thought tokyo was more likely to be the seer at that point than bobo

Why village won:
1. Fake-seering.
2. Shortline99.
3. Not being morans in endgame.

also, we had to NK Tokyo because regardless of his fake peeks, his suspect list was just too good.

If we had killed him N3, and Bobo N4... much better.

I was crazy insane pissed when I saw eskimo votes last night when I got home. Chuck's defense was weak at best, and he HAD to go in front of Eskimo or VR.

[/ QUOTE ]

Me too, nice job of the confirmed's pulling it through.

FYI Nich, this was all part of my plan when I tried to lynch you, I knew xorbie would be replaced, and I figured you would do a great job as a confirmed villager later. No need to thank me for my awesome strategy.

Also, sad note, they've enacted Websense at my work, which for some reason labels 2+2 as a gambling site, so this may be my last long game for a while. Nice one to end on though.
