Well, I bust on the Bucks incessantly because I've got a prop-bet with Mebenhoe. Before Yi showed he can actually play, I honestly thought they were the worst. Maybe 14th or whatever. Now with Yi playing well and some teams sucking worse than I thought they would (Washington mainly), I could see them as high as 10th.

tdarko-

I was talking just last year. You guys rightfully stomped us in '06, but then the infamous Miami refs/Mavs meltdown occurred. I think that, coupled with the GS ousting last year, has really damaged the Mavs psyche. I think for the Mavs to have a legitimate chance at the title within the next few years, they will need to let up in the regular season and finish with the second or third best record. It's purely a psychological thing; the talent's all there.

Has Orlando been a surprise team for most of you guys so far? I didn't do a ton of NBA posting in the offseason, but from what I read they seemed underrated coming in. I guess the consensus was that Lewis wasn't much of an upgrade over Grant Hill, but imo he is the perfect type of guy to go with Howard, who is an absolute beast. I haven't gotten a chance to watch him this season, but hopefully he took a few steps forward on the offensive end because the D and rebounding is already there.

They're playing pretty well, but their schedule has been pretty easy and I don't expect Rashard to shoot 51% with 50% from 3 all season long.

You keep responding to me but like most of this place I don't read your posts.

someone's never heard of quick reply.

it also says something about you that you have to keep telling the world that you're ignoring somebody. um, why? do you get satisfaction from that? that's pretty sad.

Damon Jones, his mind is not the strongest. Not that he is dumb, he just doesn't have the strongest will. He lacks that little extra something that the old school great ones had, like Larry Bird.

Vyse,
Maybe it's so you won't waste your time creating stupid arguments. Too late I guess.

I think it's hilarious whenever the Raptors are shooting like 30%, but still in the game they say. "Well despite shooting horribly they are still in teh game" and you know the Jazz commentators are saying the exact same thing.
