Default NL25 - Overpair -> Flushdraw ->Flush King high

Hi, one of the first hands on that table:

Party Poker - No Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $0.25/$0.50 Blinds - 5 Players - (LegoPoker HH Converter)

SB: $77.21
BB: $50.00
UTG: $44.17
CO: $20.18
<font color="black">Hero (BTN): $50.45</font>

<font color="black">Preflop:</font> Hero is dealt K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (5 Players)
2 folds, <font color="red">Hero raises to $2.00</font>, SB calls $1.75, BB folds

<font color="black">Flop:</font> ($4.50) T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 6[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 Players)
SB checks, <font color="red">Hero bets $4.00</font>, SB calls $4.00

<font color="black">Turn:</font> ($12.50) J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 Players)
SB checks, <font color="red">Hero bets $8.00</font>, SB calls $8.00

<font color="black">River:</font> ($28.50) 5[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 Players)
SB checks, <font color="red">Hero bets $20.00</font>, SB calls $20.00

Pot Size: $68.50 ($2 Rake)

Villan called all three bets almost instantly. Was it right to bet for protection and not giving him any free cards?

I play this the same, this seems standard, though I am curious to what he would flat call all the way with like this? Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] ? or some such

I'd be inclined to bet less on the river to induce calls from worse hearts.

Standard, although I probably bet $15 on the river.

Slowing down on the turn would be okay (checking) and then calling river if he bet.
