Thanks Mat for responding to this.

I do think though that companies with such a shady past and associated with borderline criminals in futurebet is still not the best choice but thats your decision and right. I personally feel better that the issue has been brought up and hopefully you guys keep a close eye on this because I know a lot of newbies with no clue about sports betting migrate over here from the poker forums often asking about which book to join etc. I think some of those will take the banners as an endorsement of Oddsmaker and join them without researching.
I'm owed around $7,500 from future bet and have friends who are owed a lot more, It has been over a year and we do not hang on to hopes of getting this money anymore.

Pokes Poker issued a similar statement about their own cashier etc before stealing a million dollars from a bunch of 2+2ers. In the end they changed their mind and blamed it on Future Bet and Future Bet blamed it on them etc. Same case all the time with future bet. I don't know whose fault that is but I've always said "Friends don't let friend deposit at future bet sites".

Hope this all works out.

Mat,

Would you keep funds in oddsmaker given the history?

One can search all over SBR's forums and find negative things about Oddsmaker. This is the same standard BS post by Oddsmaker, all low class scum sportsbooks make comments like these to defend themselves. 2+2 is putting their players funds at risk for a quick buck by having them as a sponsor.

SBR is no doubt one of the most trusted sites in the industry. These guys tell it like it is. They have nice offices (pictures available on the website) set up in Costa Rica and actually go and inspect sites and are able to meet with different sportsbook managers face to face.

SBR_John obviously doesn't think they are any better since march. Just on the 6th of this month he made a post about them in their forum which included:

This is not the only thread. Take a look online you’ll find plenty more.

I can only speak from my personal experience with Oddsmaker. This is a sports book that I have met with on 3 different occasions. The last time took place 2 weeks ago when Oddsmaker invited all of the posters on EOG.COM to FREE ROOMS at the Atlantis Casino in the Bahamas.

I have been involved in the online sports book industry for 12 years. It is very rare for one of our sponsors to be this generous.

Furthermore, I have personally guaranteed deposits to them for up to 5k per account. And while I don't mind some people resorting to "name calling," I invite anyone to check out my history and reputation with any online sports book involving "pay outs," period.

Therefore, if you want to give Oddsmaker an honest try and stop bitching about their past, I will guarantee your money up to 5k...

All that is required is that you provide your account number and weekly balances by email to me and Oddsmaker to be insured...

Thanks,

The Shrink

OddsMaker.com is one of the most reputable gaming sites online today. Offering you everything from Sportsbook wagering, poker rooms, casino games, fantasy games, all to better accommodate you.

From Shrinks site. How much did they pay you for that one? Also with everyone who had guarantees with the BOS sites through other sportsbetting forums nothing much has come of that either. Did you guys have guarantees for those people who lost it all on BetOnSports and sister sites? Did you pay people out for that?

Really sure guarantee our money. Is the guarantee we will be paid out within 12 months or our money back??

The Shrinks always been on of the favorite shills in the industry. I mean that too he handles himself so well and seems like such a great guy.

Edit: Its just a shame he takes on the sponsors he does. I would hang out at EOG much more again if that was the case but i have a hard time with feeling like I'm aiding in marketing. Like there is a part of me that feels a bit guilty each time I post in this forum now

EOG.COM NEVER guaranteed BOS or their sister books when they STIFFED.

My former place, TheRx did insure them...

Please get your facts straight if you are going to accuse me of not honoring my word..

BTW, I believe EVERY SPORTS BOOK will vouch for my money and timely payouts when I lose (credit side)...

PropPlayer, I wish you'd reconsider posting again as we enjoy having as many people around to bust my chops when they need to be ...

If they are honest, why would we need your guarantee?

If they are honest, why the $5k limit? When I give my word of honor vouching for someone, it's good as high as you can go, even if it takes me the rest of my life to pay it back [thus it is a very short list.]

All I can think of is:

Noted, so why the $5k limit? If they are good for it, what's your risk?
