Default $50NL: TPGK in 3bet pot, cbet gets flat called

villain: 18/13/1 (150 hands)

How concerned am I when he calls my cbet? Don't think AF1 is floating me. Am I giving him too much credit if I don't see him having a worse A here since he is pretty tight? Maybe he is peeling with 77-QQ and making me fire again. I can't fold here in a 3bet pot, when I hit pretty much the best flop I can ask for. OOP should I just keep betting unless he plays back, and if I am behind, just donk off my stack? Or check turn to induce a bet from a PP, and then value bet river if checked back.

Bet turn, get raised, push, collect pot when he folds?

It's possible he's on a flush draw or has a smaller A, bet turn...

I probably check turn and if he checks behind, I bet river. If he bets turn, I call and get it in on the river. A flush draw is a small part of his range, so you want to give him the chance to think his smaller pocket pair is good if he has one. There are so few bad cards that I really dont see the harm in checking here.

Everyone who says theyre betting the turn here, why? Youre hoping to get value from AJ exactly. If you check, theres a possibility he might either bet with a lower pair or call a river bet with it. Betting folds out everything we beat and there really is nothing to protect against. We cant worry about the flush draw in a 3 bet pot, its a tiny part of his range.

I don't mind checking this turn, planning to either get it in after he bets or valuebetting the river if he checks behind
