Unfortunately I don't have PT, which would make this whole situation a bit easier. I think leading the river in this case either folds out draws or leads to a raise. This leads me to believe that I make the most when I have him beat and lose the least when I am beat by c/c the river.

True but be careful about trying to rationalize this type of player without all the necessary info. A lot of calling stations will call the river unimproved as well. You have to know whether he's a 'drawing' station or a straight up showdown fiend when deciding on the best course of action on this river.
