Default 400NL: Value raise thin?

I don't remember my opponents exact stats but he seemed to be laggish but not in a good way.

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $4 BB (8 handed) pokerhand.org hand converter

CO ($564.55)
Button ($423.80)
SB ($417.50)
BB ($56.05)
UTG ($931.55)
Hero ($555.85)
MP1 ($400)
MP2 ($234.35)

Preflop: Hero is UTG+1 with Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img].
1 fold, Hero raises to $16, 4 folds, SB calls $14, 1 fold.

Flop: ($36) T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $28, SB calls $28.

Turn: ($92) T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players)
SB checks, Hero checks.

River: ($92) J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 players)
SB bets $40, Hero raises to $110

His river bet seemed like a blocker and I felt I could get a call from worse hands than AQ. KJ<, TX, KQ, AK and also 89. Also if he was going to shove, I would be folding.

Since I could have JJ here easily I doubt this is a spot for any of his range to bluff shove me.

I know its pretty thin but what u think against not a good player?

Looks good as long as you fold to a shove

I think its good for the reasons you stated:
1) there are hands you can get value from
2) villian is VERY unlikely to bluff reraise you...so you can fold if reraised.

I would have made it a little bigger. Like $120-$130. Not a big deal but every little bit of value helps.

idk, good players never ever call on worse here. The only merit the play has imo is that he basically never has you beat. I don't don't think you get any additional value here.

I don't know. I think we see J10 or a flush that missed a turn c/r here a lot of the time. Obviously he could also have other 10s and missed a turn c/r, but I think he folds most hands you beat and calls/raises any hand that beats you here. IMO repping exactly JJ/AQ (all I think you could ever do this for value with) is not enough to assure you don't get bluffed off of your hand although not too many players pull the b/3b on the river so it might not be that much of a concern.

i really hate this river raise. you are behind so much. i do not see anything calling you that you beat. the only possible thing that is good is maybe a scared flush will fold.
