I need a smokin' system, any suggestions??

Hello,

I'm gonna be starting new to pokertracker, up til now I've been running
a Mac, with macpokerpro.

I was just wondering what kind of system I should get? Looking for budget
but I am willing to build it myself. I'm looking for specifics (ie do i need a good video card?, should i get raptor drives and raid them, or is 7200 good enough)

Let me know whats in your system and how well it works

No, you don't need a good video card if you don't run games etc...
Get a Intel Core Duo processor, it's the best nowadays, for memory I recommend you 2 GB, you won't need 4 and 1GB is not enough if you're running a lot of things at the same time.
About the HD, a raptor is nice, but you don't really need them, you'll be pleased with a normal 7200 RPM.

I am in the process of buidling smokin system. It is going to cost me $1800 for the system and then $600 for the new dual monitors I am getting but it should be awesome. I did a thread on it awhile back, you may try searching for it.
