Default Basketball Question

Hypothetical...

If you score a 3 pter in the wrong basket, would that count as 2, or 3?

Not positive, but I think it would depend on the player from the other team and where he was standing when he last touched the ball since he would be the one getting credit for the basket.

Well my in intuition says it would count as 2, if would lvoe if someone KNEW this.

When a player shoots a 3 pointer and the defensive player accidently tips it in trying to get the rebound it only counts for 2 pts.
