I moved this here from SSNL. Clearly not a strategy thread, but I did not feel comfortable moving it to another forum.

Thoughts on whether/where this type of thread belongs?

I think that it needs to be really really clear that there's buyer beware going on here, and that 2p2 doesn't care if you get scammed, and isn't going to do anything if you do.

But also, I'm not sure that even having prop betting threads at all is allowable at this point. In fact, I'm pretty sure that it was definitely disallowed in a previous thread in this forum, and set as policy.

Something about the idea that this forum shouldn't be a place where gambling takes place.

Well, I can't find the post that I'm thinking of right now, but I really do feel like at some point it was said that for the purposes of making sure that 2p2 was not a "place where wagering takes place," and to cut down on the potential for scams, such as Vigorish, or just plain bet welching, there shouldn't be any more threads asking for money, or asking for a wager.

I may be shown wrong in the future, but personally, if I had to guess one, based on moderation history, from:

1) citanul is right and Big Jim "missed" the memo
2) citanul is wrong and he missed the memo

I'd have to go with (1). But hey, whatever.
