I called in the hand but agree now that a turn raise is better.

River was the 3[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] and he shoved. I folded and he showed J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]

NOT! The river was Td and we checked it down. He had 4d3d.

As played I think villain is looking to bet/fold here. so only question is whether you raise or just call. as your flush is weak I think raise is prolly good with intent to get it in.

Actually I think raising is pretty bad here and overreps our hand, I call almost always.

I really don't see how we're over-repping our hand by raising with a flush in a bvb confrontation.

Personally, I think anything but raising is really bad with an 8 high flush. 10 cards pair the board, potentially giving your opponent the best hand, 7 more cards bring four to a flush and kill your action. He's repping a strong hand, your bvb, get it in.

[/ QUOTE ]What hand range do you put him on when he CRs the flop? Then, what is villain repping when he bets the turn? Bluff raising in our spot is pretty ridiculous without some crazy history. You expect him to bet/call two pair here? Hard for him to have a set.

Im, I don't want to raise even though scare cards suck because I seriously think he folds 2 pair if he played it like this and maybe even a lower flush or a straight if he's good.

It would be a miraculous event for a 23/10 1/2 player to get away from two pair here. Generally speaking this type of player is not good.

Also, he can easily have TT or 55 here. He's 23/10.

If he was good, we (I anyhow) would never, ever, ever, be in this spot to begin with.
