Default Help me play my Aces, BB is going to 4-bet three players that put 5BBs

Hello,

I'm the BB, and I have to decide what to do in here.
My image on the table should be a tight player that didn't get out of line, altough once I raised with 54s on the button got called, and checked it to the river where rivered a straight and bet it.
What would you do and why?

TIA & Regards ...

Pop it to $2. AA plays terribly 5 ways and you need to narrow the field.

I don't play these stakes and have a lot of trouble resizing my bets between levels.

My alternate line would be to just push. Guaranteed to narrow the field, and if later position villains have a PP, may put us on AK and call. If everyone folds, we pick up a 20BB pot which is not bad at all.

Thanks for the replies guys.

I've made a mistake in the post format, it shows who sees the flop and this was not supposed to happen.

One suggestion was raise it to 2, another raised to 3, and another pushed. I raised it to 2.5, and went to a flop 5 handed (didn't got any single player to fold).

I open pushed on a 873 rainbow flop, and the two medium stacks called with AKo (49BBs) and JJ (44BBs), ATo was already all in pre flop, and the big stack folded TT, so I had 86% equity in here.

Flop came 9, river came J, and I only won the side pot of 4.29.

I'm not sure about the EV of each line, raise to 2.5 or push. My feeling is that against AK calls the push pre flop, JJ calls the push pre flop, ATo folds pre flop, and TT folds pre flop.

I want to calculate the EV of both lines considering the side pots, what do you suggest? (any calculator that handles side pots?). The 86.220% equity that I get from PokerStove only makes me feel PokerStared, but does not help me to decide which line has the bigger EV+ to decide which one to take next time.

TIA & Regards ...

You played it perfectly.

As you can see your push got called by ATo and AKo on the flop. It demonstrates that you shouldn't be afraid of pumping it up pre flop at NL10. $3 or even $3.50 is fine when you are out of position with 4 people in.
