3/6 96s flops flush - river question
Villan seemed pretty reasonable (25/5/4), but I only had 20 something hands on him.
Party Poker 3/6 Hold'em (6 max, 6 handed) FTR converter on zerodivide.cx Preflop: Hero is BB with 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 6[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. 4 folds, SB completes, Hero checks. Flop: (2 SB) T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 players) SB bets, Hero raises, SB calls. Turn: (3 BB) 4[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players) SB bets, Hero raises, SB calls. River: (7 BB) T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players) SB bets, Hero doesn't understand what is going on. Can I raise again? It doesn't seem like he's caring about the flop and turn raise. |

Yes, one more raise. Crying call on the 3 bet.

Re: 3/6 96s flops flush - river question
wow, the ever rare triple donk. I'm raising this. I doubt that he has a FH cause the line he's taking would indicate a three bet on the turn by him if he had a set. I'm not capping the river though if we get three bet, I'm just gonna start cursing like no tommorrow and hope for the best

Re: 3/6 96s flops flush - river question
He had trip jacks, bets, you raise, gets scared, doesnt want to give you the free card, bets again, you raise, then gets his fullhouse, bets again, you raise, 3-bet, YOU'RE DONE!
This never happens, raise. |

Re: 3/6 96s flops flush - river question
Villain's thought process:
Flop donk: I have caught part or all of that board. Flop call: I think I'll reevaluate on the turn. Turn donk: I think you could have been raising the flop with a single diamond and I do not want you to check behind. Turn call: I do not have a straight or two pair. If I did, I'd 3-bet here. There is a very, very slim chance that I have a low made flush and want to see a non-diamond river card before I start going nuts. River donk: No diamond. Whew. Bet! Yes, you should raise that river. |

Re: 3/6 96s flops flush - river question
Hmmm...
I just call. Villain is pretty aggressive but not stupid. I do not think this villain calls with a hand we are ahead of often enough. I think the river donk means a full house or a bet/fold here more often than 2p. Str8 is possible though. |

Re: 3/6 96s flops flush - river question
I call this quite a bit. But it may have to do with the tougher players at higher limits. I'm not sure.
In my opinion opening yourself up in spots where you are wagering 1 if ahead and losing 2 if behind is a mid-limit players worst mistake. Krishan |
