Re: 3/6 TT
I don't understand the turn check; that K was a pretty good card for you. A TAG's UTG raising range is tight, to be sure, but without the PF cap, I think we're up against AA-JJ less often and AQ and AJ more often. I don't like giving the free card.

[/ QUOTE ] If he always check-folds the turn, but always bluff-bets the river, with a six outer, what is the best play? If he's capable of bluff c/ring the turn, how does this affect the decision? That said, I think against a typical 3/6 TAG, u should b/f the turn. |

In these spots I tend to bet the turn and check behind on the river. I guess it depends on what he'll cr you with. |

[/ QUOTE ] Good post. I see what you're saying, but those are big ifs. I'd say only some TAGs come close enough to each extreme. Re: 3/6 TT
I can see you may do this to prevent a bluff and keep the pot smaller in the case you are beat. However, my standard play would be bet/fold turn. If he only calls the turn...I may very well still be ahead, and may be able to throw in another value bet on the river, but I can't really think of any hands that he would just call the turn and river w/ raising utg except for 99, 88.
