I don't understand your logic here. If you aren't happy to get it in on this flop why did you call the raise and reraise preflop?

I don't know if I agree with getting it in or not but surely folding here makes the preflop play incorrect?

[/ QUOTE ]

are you serious? I think this is a -EV spot because I think UTG has 99 or 33 and that he would probably have called with TT-AA here.

Betting this flop could be ok actually, the only problem is that I didn't want to bet, get the guy with an overpair to shove and get the 20/10 player to fold his TT+ hand.

The problem I might have is where to put the raise / bet in without convincing the weak tag that he is beaten when I think I am ahead.

I called pf to stack him when I make the best hand....

Could you give me an example of a flop board and betting pattern that would make you happy to get it in please?

Please note: I'm pretty sure I'm missing something here. Please don't take offence at my questioning your logic, I just don't understand.

Looks like villain did an excellent job of this to me.

I do not like your fold. I am not a fan of the preflop call of the re-raise unless you are planning to stack off when you hit.

That board is very dry. AA-Q will think they are golden here.

i think this would be an absolutely terrible spot for UTG to pop up with QQ+ here

Agree, but hero's read is "UTG is too loose post flop". Hard to narrow his range to exactly the two hands that beat hero based on that read.

Bad fold imo.

Push, that will very much look like something like 6[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 4[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] or the nut flush draw and its a pretty big chance UTG will call with a high overpair.

If you are up vs a higher set its nothing to do about it here.

After that Preflop action i shove, they raised and reraised.
Perhaps 2 high pocket pairs. But what does it matter? You have a set and there`s just a 3,9 in the flop. If it would be AA/KK i could fold.

UTG is solidish but calls too much 22/10 and too loose postflop but not very aggressive. Other guy is 30/15 and has 370 left on flop. Myself and the solid player have 1000 left on the flop.

No Limit Holdem Ring game
Blinds: $2/$5
6 players
Converter

Pre-flop: (6 players) Hero is UTG+1 with 2[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 2[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]
UTG raises to $20, Hero calls, CO raises to $65, 3 folds, UTG calls, Hero calls.

Flop: 2[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 3[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] ($202, 3 players)
UTG checks, Hero checks, CO bets $145, UTG raises to $300, Hero folds

[/ QUOTE ]

Fold pre flop, I don't like this call with so many people to act after you.

As played with 200BB+, a fold here is OK. I wouldn't do it though.

Just wondering, do you fold 33 here?
