He was up about $500k in full tilt no limit at one point and about the same in PLO but he lost almost all of that back, pretty much breakeven for the year now.

Perky knocked me out of the Main Event in 2007. He was chipleader for quite a while on day 1. I don't know if he received any airtime for it... I didn't see anything on ESPN with him in it. He tilted off the majority of his stack because he's an action junkie. He kept raising 72o from any position and taking down the blinds because most of the table was scared of him. He acted pretty cocky, and I was seated on his immediate left for long time. He was relatively friendly to me though.

What is the guy's real name? Isn't it Ilya? A Russian guy from NYC.

No, his name is Dave. I believe he and Ilya are friends though and part of the "spoiled NYC kids".

Reason I stated that, I know a lot of Russian kids go under Dave when their name is really Ilya (yeah, kinda strange). I also heard that there are two NYU Daves, both go to NYU and one is Russian, named Ilya. I believe Traheho also states somewhere that they played at Ilya's apartment...

I dunno what to make of all that, but who cares.
