i was in his type of shape, but bench really doesn't relate to pushups as well as you'd think. The only way he does this is if he does them a lot on a regular basis.

that probably won't help him at all. the strain is so different. you need very little muscle mass for 1000 pushups, but one hell of stamina.

it's like 100m vs. marathon.

offer them 2:1 and put your bankroll on it. he's screwed. no way he'll do 4+ pushups/hour for 4 hours at 5'8'' 185. try 5'4'' 120 w/ special training.
