I need some feed back my BB/100 has gone down over 4 points

Hey all this is only my second post, but I would really like some feedback on my pockertracker stats. to see if you all can find some glaring leaks in my game. My BB/100 has dropped about 4pts in the last 3000 hands or so. As of today it is at 2.9 bb/100 over 4 levels (25nl-100nl & .50/1 limit).When it was pretty steady at around 7 bb/100 for the first 10k hands or so. (I did lose 2 25nl buyins today when I lost to set over set both times, but it only dropped my bb/100 about 3/4 of a point).

stats are pretty meaningless when it comes to winning play. i mean short of someoens vpip being 50 to 90 i rly dont judge there ability by their stats.

Thanks young, but I'm really looking to see if anybody can see anything that would explain my downward slide. I think this is a lot more than just normal variance

Incorrect, if anything this is a lot less than normal variance. Seriously 13K hands is nothing in the grand scheme of things. I think there is a section in the Micro-limits FAQ about confidence intervals over certain sample sizes, I would check that out. I remember looking at that a while ago and playing around with some of the numbers in a spreadsheet and I was shocked at the results. Even after several hundred thousand hands it is difficult to pin down your win rate within a few BB/100.

I'm not saying that you shouldn't work on your game, plug leaks etc., but obsessing over winrate is counterproductive and a good way to drive yourself insane. Often the correlation between winrate and playing quality is very weak over small sample sizes.

yes but we cant tell you why ur losing from just ur pt stats. post hands that u lost big on. well tell u if u just got sucked out on or made a mistake.

just typical variance. probably like you said from losing set over set twice and hands like this. and with your small number of hands it will have a large factor on your BB/100. also try to bring you VPIP down around 20. 25 is a little high and this may be the reason you are losing money right now.

my vpip is 28 to 30 i dont think its a problem.

some people are more lag then others but playing more lag can lead to larger shifts in results over the short run.

if ur bad post flop, but unless im on tilt im rarely putting money in pot with a losing hand.

That's kind of the point...none of that can be answered from looking at statistics.
