YouTube comments under the 750K HSP Hand between Gold and Antonius

Verchiele (12 hours ago)

Jamie Gold has no reason to believe that he is behind - the only possible hand to beat him is only AA and AJ (of which Patrick Antonius have AJ). J9 is also a possible to beat him but it is highly unlikely because he called Jamie's huge rereaised pre-flop.

What Jamie did everything is correct (justified) - other than moving all in directly with just not too signficant money in the pot. Basically, any call means that he's beat. This is a very bad play imho.

My bad, even AA isnt possible to beat Jamie. so basically only AJ and J9 to beat him.

Jamie on the other hand aware that he could beat all sorts of hand and in favour to win. Most typical card for Antonius to have this kind of play would be AA, AK (highly likely) AQ,A10 (less likely), and any two hearts (very unlikely). Jamie got all of them beat.

why the three rivers??? why not keep all the 750k? i dont get it...

bubbadosi (1 day ago)
they basically divide the 750K pot up into 3 smaller pots all worth 250, and peel 3 different rivers as 3 separate hands. since jamie won 2 out of 3, he won 500 out of the 750..pretty sick

what is with the 3 different rivers???

Sometimes in really big pots when two people have went in all in before the last card they do multiple last cards to lower the luck factor. Only in cash games though its against most tournament rules I think.
