Default 50NL extraction question

:: edit - villain is unknown ::

I've been having some trouble extracting these days, so hope you guys can help me out.

pokertracker is acting up on me - so it didn't save the hh - going from memory:

UB - 6 handed 50NL. 100BB eff stacks.
Hero is CO
Villain is UTG
4 other players

Villain calls, one fold, Hero raises to 2.25 with K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], BTN calls, Villain calls.

Flop (pot ~7): 5[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]
Villain checks, Hero bets 6.25, one fold, Villain calls.

Turn (pot ~20): 4[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]
Villain bets 8, Hero ???

What do you put villain on and what is the best way to extract?

Pretty good chance of a 6....could be a few other hands though.

I say if he's aggressive call and let him bet river. If he's passive calling stationish raise turn.

I tend to just call here. There aren't any scare cards for you really, other than maybe a board pair. If a brick hits the river, he may stack off with a straight. If a dimond hits you only really scared of teh ace, which isn't that likely given the action so far.

Problem if a diamond hits is the killing of action from straights/sets/2 pairs.

$20-25. He will have $15-20 on the river.

This board is so wet that you should raise here. If he has a 6 you should get his money. If he has a set/2pair, lets get him commited.

If the board wasn't so wet a call might be good. but I think here he is getting away from a ton of his range on a turn raise or a river bet.

What? You say he should raise then you say villian is probably folding most of his range to a turn raise or river bet?

I'm basically saying I think shoving, raising, and calling all have very similar outcomes against his range considering the board.
